Web Connector has Encountered a Problem and Needs to Close When Attempting to Update

When attempting to update QuickBooks with the integrated application, the error occurs: QuickBooks Web Connector has encountered a problem and needs to close.

How to fix it
  • Ensure  that QuickBooks is up to date before you follow the steps shown below.
  • Ensure that you have the QWC file ready to perform these steps. If incase you don't have QWC file, please contact the support for your third party app to get the file downloaded.
