Negative amount shows on the A/P Aging report for a Bill Payment Check

When you run an A/P Aging report, a negative amount shows on the report. When you QuickZoom on the negative amount, the detail report shows a Bill Payment Check with several Bills listed, but only a few Bills checked as paid.

Why is this happening

If the Bill Payment Check is properly linked to Bills, then the check may be damaged.

How to fix it
Use standard data damage troubleshooting to resolve this issue.
