When printing multiple shipping labels in a terminal server environment, QuickBooks Desktop will freeze or go into a "not responding" state.
The Shipping Manager application is designed to run locally on a computer and is not designed to handle shared printing resources in a terminal server environment.
Install the label printer on the server that is running QuickBooks Desktop
Since Shipping Manager has trouble using shared printing resources, the printer used to print shipping labels must be installed on the same computer, either directly or as a network printer, where QuickBooks Desktop is installed.
Please follow your printer's directions for installing on a server.
