QuickBooks stops responding (hangs, freezes) when you access Company Information

QuickBooks Desktop stops responding (hangs, freezes) when you access Company Information (Company > Company Information)..

How to fix it
  1. Open the company file on another QuickBooks computer.
  2. Backup your company file, do not overwrite any previous backup.
  3. Record all of the Company Information and then delete it.
  4. Click OK
  5. Open the file again on the original computer.
  6. Reenter the Company Information.

If issue persists, your data file may damaged.
