Qbwin.log: LVL_ERROR--Error: Verify item history target quantity on order mismatch error

The Qbwin.log displays this error message:

LVL_ERROR--Error: Verify item history Target quantity on order mismatch error:

The ItemHistUpdateEngine may not have updated the item information correctly which causes the items on the order to not match the item history.

How to fix it

Solution 1: Rebuild the company file.

Solution 2: Manually Edit transactions in QBWin.log

Remove and reenter the items from the orders identified in the QBWin.log

  1. Look at the Qbwin.log file which will refer to a specific order, item and quantity
  2. Make a note of the item and the quantity
  3. Open the order specified in QBWin.log
  4. Delete the item specified in QBWinlog (not the entire order).
  5. After saving the edited order, run verify to make sure that the damage has been fixed.
  6. Return to the order and reenter the item and quantity that you deleted.
  7. Run another verify to make sure that the damage has been fixed.
