QuickBooks Contact Sync icon is missing in Microsoft Outlook

After installing and/or running the QuickBooks Contact Sync, the QuickBooks icon is no longer available in Microsoft Outlook.

Why this is happening

This issue will occur if:

  • QuickBooks Contact Sync is not installed properly.
  • The sync process needs to be reset.
  • Microsoft Outlook needs to be repaired.
How to fix it

Intuit recommends more than one solution for this problem. The first solution may solve your problem, or you may need to try all 3 to resolve the issue. For best results, perform the solutions in the order shown.
