We are excited to announce that our partnership with Square and the integration of Square transactions into QuickBooks is here!
When you connect your Square and QuickBooks accounts, you’ll be able to easily import your daily Square sales into QuickBooks. Once you’ve imported the transactions, you can see your sales, refunds, tax, tips, and discounts in your chart of accounts or view an individual day’s transactions by opening the imported sales receipts or checks.
The Square integration is free and only available for customers who have the all-new QuickBooks Online that was launched in September 2013. If your homepage looks this picture, please follow the directions below:
Click here to log into your QuickBooks account and go to the Square integration. Then follow these steps:
If you are a customer on a previous version of QuickBooks Online, we are working hard to help you update to the new version. We want to ensure that your transition is as smooth as possible, so to do so we are doing a phased approach over the next several months. As soon as your account is eligible to be updated, you will receive an email invitation as well as more information after you have logged into your account. If you are interested in test-driving the all-new QuickBooks Online, please visit https://qbo.intuit.com/redir/testdrive where you can explore the new version using a sample company.
The Square integration is available for $3.99 annually, with a 30 day free trial, in the 2013 and later versions of QuickBooks Desktop (for Windows Editions only, QuickBooks POS and QuickBooks for Mac is not currently supported at this time). If you are interested in integrating with Square, and you do NOT have one of these versions, please update to the most recent version of QuickBooks first.
