Unable to remove an Online Company Profile from subscribed Applications

This error occurs when trying to clear the login and sync settings inside QuickBooks. Business profiles cannot be removed from the Cloud server or from the subscribed application.

This article contains the process of clearing login and sync settings inside QuickBooks in order to remove online business company file/s.

Detailed instruction

To clear Login and Sync Settings:

  1. From the QuickBooks Help menu, click Manage Data Sync.
  2. Select the option Clear Login and Sync Settings.
  3. On the Reset My Apps Login and Clear Sync Setting screen, type YES to confirm the action.
  4. Click OK.

 

To clear Sync Settings ONLY:

  1. From the QuickBooks Help menu, click Manage Data Sync.
  2. Select the option Clear Sync Settings.
  3. On the Clear Sync Settings prompt, type YES to confirm the action.
  4. Click OK.
