The absolute best way to begin the process is by visiting the Intuit online service center. There you can chat with or email our dedicated care team regarding your account. One of our specialists will guide you through the process.
If you are unable to access the online service center, you may also follow these instructions to close your account.
These steps apply to both QuickBooks Payments accounts and Non-QuickBooks Payments accounts (e.g. Terminal, Innovative Gateway, etc...).
