Some versions and components of QuickBooks may not be compatible with IE9, IE10, and IE11. Depending on your Operating System and year of QuickBooks, there may be compatibility issue with Internet Explorer with the following QuickBooks components and functions:
Internet Explorer 11 became available mid-October of 2013. Although it has been released to the public, there are some features in QuickBooks that may not work with this version. You should always refer to your QuickBooks Product year system requirements to verify compatibility.
If you are using a Windows 7 or Windows Vista operating system, you do have the ability to uninstall and reinstall your IE version prior to Internet Explorer 11.
Only QuickBooks 2013 and higher is supported with Internet Explorer 10. If you are using QuickBooks 2013 and have IE10 installed, you should first make sure you are on the latest release of QuickBooks to rule out compatibility issues.
If updating to the latest release does not solve your problem:
Try your task once again. If the issue persists, we recommend you uninstall Internet Explorer 10. Important: If you are using Windows 8, you cannot uninstall IE10 because it is hard coded into the operating system.
