Cancel or update payment information for QuickBooks support plans

Detailed information

You can cancel a monthly or an annual QuickBooks support plan. You can also apply for a refund on an annual support plan. Select the section below that best meets your needs.

Cancel your QuickBooks Care Plan (90 Day or Monthly Billing):

You can cancel your QuickBooks support plan with 90 day billing at any time. It is important to know that this 90 Day Billing  plan has specific limitations:

  • You must contact Intuit to cancel your support plan at least 5 days prior to the next payment date.
  • Refunds do not apply to thess plans.
  • If your plan is terminated, you might not be eligible to re-enroll in the plan.
  • If you have questions about, or wish to cancel your plan, you can contact Customer Service.

Detailed instructions to cancel your QuickBooks Care Plan (Annual Billing)

If you are not satisfied with your QuickBooks support plan with annual billing, you have the option to cancel. However, it is important to understand that the support plan has specific terms and conditions. You may cancel during the first 60 days after the initial purchase or the renewal of a plan and obtain a refund for the amount paid for the current membership period under the following conditions:

  • If you made no use of the support plan, during the first 60 days of the plan, the full amount paid for the current membership period will be refunded.
  • If you received Data Recovery or Password Removal Services under the plan during the first 60 days, you will be liable for the full fee for the services used.
  • If you talked to or received an email response from a technical support representative during the first 60 days of the plan, the amount refunded will equal the amount paid minus the cost for each support contact.
