Resolve store exchange errors in Point of Sale Multi-store

When attempting to run a store exchange, you may encounter one of the following errors:

  • Error code 175135: Unable to decompress store exchange file
  • Error code 175414: An error detected while copying file to %s for %s
  • Error code -193: Primary key for dept keywords is not unique
  • Error code 175411: You have entered a license number which is already used by another store
  • Error code 175305: Errors were encountered, select VIEW LOG for details
  • Store Exchange password does not match password in preferences. File s0X#####.qbt (Error code:2)
  • No files waiting to be processed, select close to exit


Why this is happening

Failure to receive mailbags during a store exchange may be caused by one the following:

  • Multi-store preferences are not set up properly.
  • Damaged .QBT file.
  • The store exchange password in Remote Store does not match the password at Headquarters.
  • Windows Firewall interferes with the Store Exchange process.
  • There are compatibility issues with Windows.
  • Another store is configured using the license number.
  • You are not logged into Microsoft Windows as an administrator.
  • You are attempting to process in a mailbag from one Headquarters file to another Headquarters file.

  Ensure to update all copies of Point Sale at all stores to the most current release before trying any of the following solutions.
