When trying to download a webconnect file (.QBO) from your bank's website, using the QuickBooks embedded browser, you see a message saying that you are using an unsupported browser, even if you are using a new version of Microsoft's Internet Explorer.
Note: The exact message will vary depending on the website, but it will reference an outdated or unsupported browser, or something similar.
This issue has been resolved in the latest release for QuickBooks 2016.
Update to the latest release:
Go to the Update to the Latest Release web page.
IMPORTANT: Make sure your product is selected. If not, click "Choose a different product."

Alternate steps for Web connect import:
This is tool being researched for a possible solution in QuickBooks 2015. The article will be updated when more information is available. As of now the issue does not occur in QuickBooks 2016. If you are still experiencing this issue in 2015 we are recommending to use the workaround provided in the KB as a temporary solution for 2015 and older.
