When trying to download a webconnect file (.QBO) from your bank's website, using the QuickBooks embedded browser, you see a message saying that you are using an unsupported browser, even if you are using a new version of Microsoft's Internet Explorer.
Note: The exact message will vary depending on the website, but it will reference an outdated or unsupported browser, or something similar.
This issue has been resolved in the latest release for QuickBooks 2016.
Update to the latest release:
Go to the Update to the Latest Release web page.
IMPORTANT: Make sure your product is selected. If not, click the Change link and select your QuickBooks product.
