Update your payment information for QuickBooks products and services

This article explains how to update your payment information (such as your credit card expiration date) in your QuickBooks account

Note:  If you don't have any existing credit or debit cards on file, please contact support to add the first one. Otherwise, follow the steps below to update or change an existing payment method.

Detailed instructions

To update your payment information, perform the following steps:

  1. Go to www.quickbooks.com/your-account and sign in with your User ID and Password.  If you don't have a User ID and Password, you can create one now.
  2. If you see a drop-down with multiple accounts, choose the account that is associated with the payment method you would like to update.
  3. Under Payment Methods, click anywhere on the credit card that you would like to edit. 
  4. Enter a new credit card number, expiration date, CVV, Name on Card and/or Billing Address and click Save and Close in the bottom right-hand corner.

Note:  If you do not wish to override your current debit or credit card, please contact support.
