Print barcode labels in Advanced Inventory for QuickBooks Enterprise

If you use Advanced Inventory in QuickBooks Enterprise 2013 or beyond, you can print barcode labels.

Detailed instructions

To print barcode labels:

Step 1:  Make sure you have your printer setup with the correct labels

  1. Go to File > Printer Setup.
  2. Select Label in the Form Name drop down.
  3. Select the correct Printer name.
  4. Select the correct Label Format.

Step 2:  Print the labels

  1. Go to File > Print Forms > Labels.
  2. Select Item Barcodes.
  3. From the drop-down beside Item Barcodes, select the item(s) you want to print.
    Note: You can select all items, all inventory items, all services, all assembly, etc.
  4. There is an option at the bottom of the print window to Include item descriptions.  Un-check this if you only want to print the name and the barcode.
  5. To print multiple labels for one item, select just that item, then click OK.
  6. In the print window, in the lower left, enter the number of labels you want to print by Number of Copies.
    Note: To print multiple items, multiple labels each, you will have to either print all the items in sequence as many times as you need labels, or print each item individually.
