FAQs

Q: Why am I being prompted to enter a one-time confirmation code?

A: Intuit has implemented Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) across all of our products to protect your account and ensure only you have access to your data. As part of this, when you sign-in or when you make a change to your account information (such as email, password, user ID) you may be required to use a one-time confirmation code to complete the process. For more details, check out our Multi-factor authentication (MFA) FAQ article.

Q: How do I change my phone number and/or email address?

A: You will be able to update this information after you're able to enter your one-time confirmation code. If you no longer have access to the email on file, you can request to change your email by providing proof of identity. Get started.
