The TWAIN compatibility tool helps identify whether a prospective scanner will be compatible with the QuickBooks check scanning software.
A supported version of QuickBooks that is accessing the Check Solutions for QuickBooks company file must be installed on the computer that is connected to the scanner. Network scanners and VPN connections are not supported.
IMPORTANT: The scanner must appear in the Printers & Faxes (or Devices & Printers) section of the computer that the scanner is connected to; otherwise it will not work.
