The QuickBooks eCheck software performs the secure connection of check transactions with Intuit payment services. For ScanCheck users it also installs the check related applications needed to pull the images from the supported scanner and into QuickBooks for processing.
If you are experiencing an issue with loading the Check scanning page in QuickBooks (similar to the image below), follow the instructions below to properly perform an install or repair.
If this is the very first time accessing ScanCheck the Installation and Setup window appears. Click the Install eCheck Software button to begin.
If this is not the first time accessing ScanCheck, the Scan Your Checks window appears. Click on the wrench icon in the upper right-hand corner to access the installation page. If you receive the warning pop-up, click the Close this scanning session and go to the install page link to proceed.
