Reset your appcenter.intuit.com password

If appcenter.intuit.com does not accept your password and if it tags it as incorrect, you will need to reset your password so you may regain access to your Intuit account.

This article provides the basic and easy steps of resetting your Intuit account password.

Detailed Instructions
  1. Go to the Appcenter website.
  2. On the upper right corner of the page, click Sign In.
  3. If the "Create your account" window appears, select Sign In link just above it.
    You should see the correct Sign In window.
  4. Click on "I forgot my user ID or password".
  5. Enter your email address on the field, then click Continue.
  6. Access your email. You should receive "Your Intuit Account Recovery Request".
    The email consists of your User ID, Last Accessed Date, and Actions.
  7. On the Actions column, click Reset Password.
    You will be directed to the Intuit Accounts - Account Recovery window.
  8. Enter your new password on the Create a new password box.
    Note: Intuit recommends that the password you create meets the requirements to ensure maximum security for your account. (i.e. Use a number)
  9. Confirm your new password by retyping it on the Confirm password field, then click Reset password.
  10. You can add your mobile number on the next window. Otherwise, select Skip for now.
  11. You will receive an email confirming the password change. Open your Intuit account to verify.
