Customize the Design of a Form

This article is about customizing the design of a form (background, image, logo, fonts, style, grid).
Detailed instructions
You can easily create a new design that reflects your business identity, or brand and use if for all your QuickBooks forms (invoices, sales receipts, and more). It's an easy, 4-step process.
  1. Click Lists > Templates.
  2. Click Templates > New.
  3. Select the type of template you want to create.
  4. Click OK.

Step 1: Select a background and logo

  1. Select a background from dozens of different designs, including some that are industry-specific.
  2. Upload a graphic file to use as a logo.
  3. You can also have a logo created for you (for a small fee).

Step 2: Select colors and fonts

  1. Select the color to use for the text on the form and the grid that contains transaction data.
  2. Select a font to use for your text
  3. Select the information about your company to appear on the form.

Step 3: Select grid style

  1. Select how you want the grid that contains transaction data to appear.

Step 4: Review design

  1. Review your design, then apply it to your forms.
  2. When you're done, you can save yuor design online and apply it to multiple form templates.
