Change an Other Name to a Customer, Vendor, or Employee

If you inadvertently set up a Customer, Vendor, or Employee on the Other Names List, you can use the Change Names Type function to correct their status.

Detailed instructions
1.  Click the Lists menu up top and select Other Names List.
2.  Right-click on one of the names in the list (any one will do) and select Change Name Type.
3.  In the Change Name Types box, simply place a check mark next to each Other Name that you want to change.
-Warning- As the box read, "Once you click OK to change name type, you cannot undo the change.  If you are not sure whether to change a name now, leave it as an Other Name".
4.  Once you hit OK, the name will be removed from the Other Names list because it's type has been changed.
