Firewall, internet security, and parental controls settings for updates and network access

For QuickBooks to access your data file, update its program files, and download payroll updates, several programs must be cleared in your firewall.

If your firewall denies a QuickBooks related program access to a file or the Internet, get the latest updates for your firewall program or for Windows, if you are using the Windows firewall. firewall network security, . Grant the following files access through your firewall on ports 80, 8019, 56719, and 55333 through 55342 for both incoming and outgoing traffic:
