Configuring Panda Platinum and Titanium firewalls for Point of Sale functions

Detailed Instructions
| Print out a listing of Point of Sale
ports, files and their locations so it is available as you
configure your firewall. Configure Panda Platinum: - Click the Panda icon in your system tray.
- Select Open Panda Platinum, open the Security section
and select settings in the lower right corner.
- Click Firewall on the left side of the screen,
and settings on the right. . (under the
access tab)
- At the top of the screen, clear the Automatically assign
communication permissions (recommended) checkbox. . Ensure this
is turned off.
- Once the Automatically assign... check box is unchecked,
locate the files listed in the Windows Firewall document and ensure
they have inbound and outbound rights. . (If you do not see these
files, select Add Program at the bottom of the screen,
locate and add all of the appropriate Point of Sale files).
- In the Security Profile selection, click settings and
ensure the network adapter is set to Secure Zone for cable
and DSL, and Restricted Zone for Dial up
Configure Panda Titanium: - Launch Panda Titanium and, on the home page, click
settings on the left side of the screen.
- Select Automatic Firewall Protection.
- Click Firewall Protection.
- Click Connection Permissions Settings
- Find the Point of Sale related files in the list and ensure
they have inbound and outbound rights. . (If you do not see these
files, select Add Programat the bottom of the screen, adding
each one).
- Click OK
