Error 1328
Error 1328 occurs when the update installer encounters a file of a different version than it expected. The files referenced by these errors are usually similar to c:\config.msi\PT**.TMP. Error 1328 is presented in different ways. The text and options may be different depending on the cause.
If you receive the following:

Click the Ignore button each time the Error 1328 is presented to complete the install of the update.
Important: If you click Abort, another error such as Error 1603 may display. To resolve this issue, close QuickBooks and do a Windows shutdown. Restart your computer and reopen QuickBooks. Reinstall the update. If Error 1328 displays again, click the Ignore button. The update should complete successfully.
However, If you receive the 1328 error without an Ignore button:

Click Retry one time. If this does not work, click Cancel. You will need to Reinstall QuickBooks. After reinstalling, you will be prompted to install the update. The update should complete successfully.
