If your clients upgrade to the Microsoft Windows Vista operating
system, please inform them that they should also upgrade to
Quickbooks products and services that work with Windows Vista.
Windows Vista is not a supported operating system for QuickBooks
2006 and prior versions; Intuit will not be able to provide live
support for issues you may encounter using these versions on
Windows Vista. . Individual user experiences may vary.
If your clients decide to run QuickBooks 2006 or a prior version
on a Windows Vista computer, they must be set up as a Windows
Administrator and run QuickBooks in Microsoft Windows XP
Compatibility Mode to reduce the possibility of program issues.
Even if your clients are properly configured, some product
features, such as QuickBooks Payroll, QuickBooks Timer, and
Shipping Manager, may not work.
Your clients can also run QuickBooks 2007 on computers that are
running Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows XP. . QuickBooks 2008 can
be run on Windows XP.
