Use the Partial Page tab (in the Print Checks or Printer Setup windows) when
you need to print one of the following.
A single check or paycheck.
One or two partial checks left over from a previous printing.
Note: Use your envelope feeder or printer tray when loading the partial check page into your printer.
Because many printers have difficulty printing shortened pages with only one or two checks, you may prevent wasted checks and paper jams by attaching reusable

Making your selection
Choose Side if the envelope feeder loads checks sideways into the left or right side of your printer and has only one adjustable guide.
Choose Center if the feeder loads into the center of your printer and has two adjustable guides.
Choose Portrait if either of the following are true.
Your envelope feeder loads into the back.
Your printer doesn't have an envelope feeder.
Important: The Portrait orientation selection requires the use of an Intuit Forms Leader to feed the partial page through your printer's paper tray.
When you are first setting up partial page printing, you may want to
experiment with blank sheets of paper. printing, . Cut them into one- and two-check-sized
pieces, and try printing them as partial page checks.
