Hourly rates

When you enter or change these numbers, QuickBooks recalculates the amount for this hourly rate in the Employee Summary section.

QuickBooks prefills the same hours worked on this employee's next paycheck; however, you can change them.

Note: If you transfer time data for this employee, QuickBooks enters a separate line for each combination of hourly payroll item, service item, and customer:job in the time data for this payroll period.

If you don't transfer time data for this employee, QuickBooks prefills the same hours worked on the employee's next paycheck.

QuickBooks never prefills sick or vacation time.
