Starting or stopping multi-user hosting

QuickBooks will prompt you as needed to set up a computer to host multi-user access to company files. multiuser, . However, if you need to start or stop hosting on a particular computer, you can do so from the QuickBooks File menu.

How can I find out whether my computer is already hosting multi-user access?

Go to the File menu and click Utilities. multiuser, . If your computer is already set up to host multi-user access, you will see the menu item "Stop hosting multi-user access."

Starting hosting

Go to the File menu, choose Utilities, and then click "Host multi-user access."

Stopping hosting

Go to the File menu, choose Utilities, and then click "Stop hosting multi-user access."
