Error: IntuitSyncManager.exe - Entry Point Not Found

While logged into your Windows workstation in which QuickBooks is installed, you receive the error:

IntuitSyncManager.exe - entry point not found


How to fix it
This error has been known to generate when there are multiple copies of QuickBooks open.
Solution 1:
Uninstall in the order below:
  1. Current year of QuickBooks 
  2. Previous year of QuickBooks

Reinstall in the order below:

  1. Previous year of QuickBooks
  2. Current year of QuickBooks 
Solution 2:
  1. Close the error message.
  2. Run reboot.bat for the latest version of QuickBooks installed.
  3. Launch QuickBooks.
  4. Try to sync again.

    If the message continues, exit QuickBooks and continue with the following steps.

Solution 3:

  1. Right-click your TaskBar at the bottom of your screen and choose Start Task Manager 
  2. Within the Processes tab, select IntuitSyncManager.exe.
  3. Click the End Process button.
  4. Click Yes, to the warning that appears.
  5. Open a company file within QuickBooks.
  6. Launch the Intuit Sync Manager.

    The program should now open without the error message.
