While opening QuickBooks, you may see the Opening QuickBooks splash screen but QuickBooks does not open.
The following troubleshooting steps are for the Windows operating system, which is not an Intuit product. The steps can become complex if errors occur while repairing or uninstalling .NET Framework. If you are not comfortable doing these steps on your own, Intuit recommends you consult with your computer's manufacturer or other computer professional.
Intuit recommends more than one solution for this problem. The first solution may solve your problem, or you may need to try all of them to resolve the issue. For best results, perform the solutions in the order shown.
If you have this problem while opening QuickBooks 2013 or later:

Solution 1: Run reboot.bat.
Solution 2: Rename the QBWUSER.INI.
Solution 3: Rename the EntitlementDataStore.ecml file. Note: You may have to re-register QuickBooks after renaming this file.
Solution 4: Perform a Clean Install.
Solution 5: Run the QuickBooks Component Repair Tool to repair damaged Microsoft components.
