One of the following errors occur when you download a QuickBooks update:
These errors may be caused by an incorrect configuration of Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE).
To protect your computer and its contents, QuickBooks attempts to verify the digital signature on all files that are downloaded through the program. If QuickBooks is unable to verify the digital signature of a file that you are trying to download, one of these errors will occur.

To resolve this error, please download the latest version of Internet Explorer from the Microsoft Download Center (NOTE: IE 10 is not recommended for versions of QuickBooks prior to 2013).
If that does not resolve the issue, you can try one of the solutions below. You may need to follow all of them in order.

This issue may be cause by an expired Windows security certificate. Click here to download an updated certificate from Microsoft.
