Error: You do not seem to have Java Script enabled or you do not have the latest Adobe Flash Player

When you attempt to sign in to the Intuit App Center (workplace.inuit.com), you see the following error message:

Error: You do not seem to have Java Script enabled or you do not have the latest Adobe Flash Player.

Why this is happening

Intuit Workplace App Center requires that Java Script be enabled and Adobe Flash Player v10.1 or later be installed.

Your system lacks one or the other (or possibly both).

How to fix it

Intuit recommends 2 solutions for this problem. The first solution may solve your problem, or you may need to try both to resolve the issue. For best results, perform the solutions in the order shown.

Solution 1: Enable Java Script.

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. From the Tools menu choose Internet Options.
  3. Click the Security tab.
  4. Click the Custom Level button.
  5. Scroll down the options list to locate the Scripting section.
  6. Under Active Scripting, select Enable.
  7. Click OK to save your changes.

If you still encounter the error, try solution 2.

Solution 2: Install Adobe Flash Player v10.1 or later.

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Go to the Adobe Flash Player Download Center and download and follow the instructions to download and install the application.

If this solution does not resolve the issue, you can read discussions and post messages and questions relating to your issue on the Intuit QuickBooks Community site. You can also call us at 800.450.8475 to speak with a technical support agent.
