When you set up Online Banking or download transactions you see one of the following errors:
This may be caused by one of the following:
If you are not using Chain Bridge Bank or BB&T Banking and bill payment, please see Troubleshoot QuickBooks online banking issues and errors, including OL and OLSU errors.
Important: If you receive OLSU-1013 when you attempt to set up a Chain Bridge Bank Account, follow solution 1.
If you receive OLSU-1013 when you attempt to set up BB&T Banking and Bill Payment, follow solution 2.
Why this is happening: The processor for Chain Bridge Bank's online banking servers have initiated a dual log in online banking process that is assigned to business accounts. The processor for this financial institution is Jack Henry & Associates and they established the double layer of protection policy. Under these types of bank accounts there can be multiple sets of user names and passwords that are assigned to a single business bank account.
How to fix it: For bank accounts that are assigned a "Company username and password" the individual setting up online banking will need to enter both the company and individual's username and password information in the appropriate fields for direct connect setup.
The format for Direct Connect should be:
Example: If the Company Credentials are:
The Individuals Credentials are:
The information would need to be entered into the fields as follows:
What is happening: BB&T users can have Primary accounts and Managed accounts. The Managed accounts are restricted accounts that can only get into some of the accounts under the Primary account. Even though the Managed account user ID and password can log into the bank site it can not be used in Online Banking with QuickBooks.
How to fix: Call BB&T 888-228-6654 (option 1 and 4) ask the agent to search for the User ID. If the ID is not found ask if the User ID may be a Managed Account. They can search on Managed Accounts also.
If your version of Internet Explorer is not compatible with QuickBooks, you will need to uninstall the update.
If these solutions don't resolve the issue, you can read discussions and post messages and questions relating to your issue on the Intuit QuickBooks Community site for free. You can contact an agent for additional guidance. Fees may apply.
