The balance in the Undeposited Funds is incorrect or doesn't match the total of the payments in the "Payments to Deposit" window.
An Undeposited Funds account balance that does not equal the payments to deposit, or does not return to zero after all payments have been made, may be caused by damaged transactions in the company data file, or by payments dated later than the deposits themselves.
Intuit recommends more than one solution for this problem. The first solution may solve your problem, or you may need to try all of them to resolve the issue. For best results, perform the solutions in the order shown.
Solution 1: Locate and correct deposits of future-dated payments:

Note: If damaged transactions exist, this report will display a list of payees with balances in the Undeposited Funds account. In an undamaged data file, this report will be blank since there are no payments to deposit.
