The following error occurs when trying to create, open, or update a company file in QuickBooks:
An error occurred when QuickBooks tried to create, open or use the company file. Please try again. If the problem persists, contact Intuit technical support and provide them with the following error codes: (-6150, 0)
This error happens when the data file is being accessed or created on damaged media (for instance, restoring the file from a damaged flash drive).
Solution 1: Move the file to the desktop and try to open the file.
Solution 2: Restore a backup from before the issue occured.
