Intuit recommends several solutions for this problem. The first solution may solve your problem, or you may need to try all of them to resolve the issue. For best results, perform the solutions in the order shown.
NOTE: It has been shown that re-launching the QuickBooks with elevated permissions (right click the desktop icon and choose to run as administrator) can resolve without further effort.
Solution 5: The permission settings are incorrect for the folder hosting the company data file:
