Error: DBISAM engine Error # 11949 SQL parsing error, when trying to ship FedEx or UPS

When trying to ship in FedEX, or UPS you receive the following errors:

DBISAM engine Error #111949 SQL parsing error - Duplicate AIBAccount column not allowed in ALTER TABLE SQL statement at line 1, column 25. SQL:ALTER TABLE Account ADD AIBAccount VARCHAE(255) DEFAULT.
 Or:

DBISAM engine Error #11010 Table or backup file 'BOLD_OBJECT' does not exist SQL: SELECT DISTINCT BOLD_TYPE FROM BOLD_OBJECT

 

When trying to update the shipping settings you may also receive a second error message:

Assertion failure: s:\develop\components\production\shipping\upsbold\activex\activex_setupwizard.pas, line 1909
How to fix it

Solution 1: Re-register the ZRush_ShipRush9_QB.ocx file

If the error starting occurring after installing an update follow these steps to re-register the ZRush_ShipRush9_QB.ocx file:

  1. Click the Window (Start) button, select All Programs, then select Accessories.
  2. Right click Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator.
  3. In the command prompt type this command to change the working directory and press Enter: 
  4. Type the following command in the command prompt and press Enter to register the ShipRush file:
    • For 64 bit Windows: regsvr32.exe  "c:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Intuit\ShippingManager\ZRush_ShipRush9_QB.ocx"
    • For 32 bit Windows: regsvr32.exe  "c:\Program Files\Common Files\Intuit\ShippingManager\ZRush_ShipRush9_QB.ocx" 
  5. Click OK on the message that displays.
  6. Open QuickBooks and open Shipping Manager.

 

Solution 2: Rename the Shipping Manager folder

  1. Close QuickBooks.
  2. In Widnows Explorer, rename the following Shipping Manager folders

    In Windows XP

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intuit\ShippingManager
C:\Documents and Settings\[WindowsUserName]\Application Data\Intuit\ShippingManager
 

In Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows Vista:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Intuit\ShippingManager
C:\Users\[WindowsUserName]\AppData\Roaming\Intuit\ShippingManager
 

  1. Right-click the folder name, choose Rename, and add OLD to the end of the name (...ShippingManagerOLD).  
  2. Repair QuickBooks
  3. Choose File, select Shipping, and select FedEx Shipping options or UPS Shipping options.
