Epson Printers

 The following information is provided as a guideline only. Contact the hardware vendor for additional assistance.

Vista Compatible?	Models TM88II, TM88III, and TMU200 are not compatible with Windows Vista
TM88II	If using the "Epson ADT" driver, installing the "Epson Status API" driver module in addition will allow the cash drawer to open without feeding the paper to the printer.
TM88III	Use the Epson "ATM_301gE.exe" driver installer and select Epson TM88III Receipt in Point of Sale.
TMU200	Use the Epson "ATM_301gE.exe" driver installer and select Epson TMU200 Receipt in Point of Sale. If you experience poor print quality, it is recommended that you select print templated that use the Arial font. Look for the "{ARIEL.EN_US}" suffix on the template names. Print templates are slected at Workstation Preferences > Document & Print Options. If you have a cash drawer attached and get extra characters when printing, try changing the cash drawer settings in the Hardware Setup Wizard or workstation preferences to Connected through Epson Generic. If extra paper is fed after a receipt is cut, try switching report/partial cut settings to assigned paper size in Windows Printer Properties > Device Settings tab. This is a dot matrix printer and does not support printing scannable bar codes.

Shipping Manager supports the use of an electronic scale. This allows Shipping Manager to pull the shipping weight from the scale when attached to the Point of Sale workstation via a USB connection.
