Time format in decimal or minutes

  • When entering time or creating paychecks in QuickBooks, the time is not converting to a decimal or minutes format correctly.
  • This article provides information on how to change the time format in QuickBooks to either a decimal or minutes and the implications of this change.
Detailed information
Note: Only the QuickBooks Administrator can change the time format.
  1. Choose Edit>Preferences.
  2. Choose General from the left side of the Preferences window.
  3. Click the Company Preferences tab.
