Use the File Transfer Service included in WebEx Remote Access

This article provides the steps for using the WebEx Remote Access feature in QuickBooks to transfer a file from one computer to another.

Detailed instructions

To transfer the file:

  1. At the top right of the remote access viewer window, click Remote Access.
  2. Select Transfer File.
  3. In either the left or right pane, browse to the folder into which you want to copy files.
  4. In the other pane, browse to the folder containing the files that you want to transfer.
  5. Select the files you want to transfer.
  6. Click either the left or right-pointing arrow, as appropriate, to transfer the file from one computer to the other.

Note:  You must have access to the computer you are copying from. If you have access to QuickBooks only, this feature will not work.

Intuit and Cisco will close down the QuickBooks Remote Access service on January 31, 2015. New subscriptions and changes to existing subscriptions may be made until December 31, 2014, with support being provided 30 days past your December billing date. All service and technical support will end on January 31, 2015.

If this solution does not resolve the issue, please review other available QuickBooks support options for additional guidance. You can also read and post messages relating to your issue on the QuickBooks Community forums.
