Before importing data from Microsoft Outlook into QuickBooks Customer Manager or QuickBooks Client Manager, the contact data must be imported from QuickBooks. Refer to "Importing data from QuickBooks to Customer Manager or Client Manager" to complete that first step.

When importing information from Microsoft Outlook, the data must be mapped to a corresponding field in Customer Manager or Client Manager. After importing the data for the first time, check it for accuracy. If the data imported correctly, Customer Manager or Client Manager is ready to synchronize with Microsoft Outlook on an ongoing basis. If the data imported incorrectly, undo the import and start again.
