Your QuickBooks data is synced with your Intuit online services or third-party developer application connections to QuickBooks on a regular schedule. If you have the Intuit Sync Manager running on your machine, you can disable the automatic syncs for a particular company file or start them up again later.
You can also cancel an individual sync that is currently in progress.
To disable (or enable) all scheduled syncs for a particular file
Open the Intuit Sync Manager. Where can I find it? If the Sync Manager doesn't display the table listing the Company File, click Options > Show Details.
In the Sync Enabled? column for the company file, click the drop-down arrow and then click Disabled (or Enabled).
To start a one-time sync in between scheduled times
Open the Intuit Sync Manager. Where can I find it?
If a sync is not currently in progress, click Sync Now.
Note that this will not change the time for the next scheduled sync.
To cancel a sync that's in process
If a sync is in progress, click Cancel Sync.
