Important: You should install the Point of Sale software before connecting any hardware. Hardware drivers are installed during the software installation. Connecting hardware prior to installation may result in Windows installing drivers that cause your hardware to malfunction or not function at all.
If you are having difficulty getting printers or other hardware to work, make sure you have installed all pending Windows updates: Click the Windows Start button and select Control Panel > Windows Updates.
Important: You can also use the Hardware Setup Wizard to guide you during hardware installation. Choose File > Hardware Setup Wizard.
