If you think you have a damaged QuickBooks file:

1. Follow the recommended procedure in "Fixing possibly damaged data files."

2. If the issue is still not resolved, contact Technical Support to determine next steps.

In some situations, the issue might need to be referred to Intuit Data Recovery Services for resolution. The support representative will advise you if data recovery service is recommended.*

Data Recovery Service	Price	Description
Standard	$250	The data file enters a queue for analysis and recovery in the order in which it was received. Turnaround time varies based on incoming case volume. Ask your support representative for details. The price for this service includes a nonrefundable analysis fee of $75.
Express	$750	The next available data recovery specialist analyzes the submitted file and recovers the data, if possible. The price for this service includes a nonrefundable analysis fee of $75.

If you are upgrading from a retired version of QuickBooks to a currently supported version, your data file will be returned in the format of the current version.
