To check your current version of the Fixed Asset Manager, select About Fixed Asset Manager from the Help menu. If the window displays Version 2004.03, then you already have the latest release.

Easiest method to update QuickBooks

By default, QuickBooks will download the latest update any time you are online. However, if you check your current version and you do not have Release 2004.03, then you can follow these instructions to update Fixed Asset Manager.

QuickBooks Update Service

1. Choose Update QuickBooks from the QuickBooks File menu.

2. Click the Update Now button (or select the Update Now tab) in the Update QuickBooks window.

3. Select the Fixed Asset Manager option and any other desired downloads in the Updates field.

4. Click Get Updates to download your selected updates.

5. When the download completes, choose Exit from the File menu to exit QuickBooks.

6. Start QuickBooks and click Yes on the message to install the updates.
   

Important: You must update using the QuickBooks Update Service described above each time you uninstall and reinstall QuickBooks.
