Changing the email address associated with a QuickBooks Online Backup account

Overview

When signing up for QuickBooks Online Backup service, you enter account information such as contact name and e-mail address to complete the activation process. . You can change the e-mail address associated with your account at any time using your QuickBooks Online Backup Account ID and password.

Detailed Instructions

To change the e-mail address associated with your QuickBooks Online Backup account:

  1. Open the Account Information Web site.
  2. Enter your Account ID and Password, and then click the Edit Account Info button.
  3. Click the Customer Profile button.
  4. In the Account Information section, enter your new e-mail address.
  5. Click the Save Changes button at the bottom center of the screen.
