Activating a free QuickBooks Online Backup service account included with your support plan

When you purchase a support plan an e-mail is sent to the e-mail address associated with your account.  The e-mail has instructions for activating your Online Backup account.  (Note: If you do not receive the e-mail, be sure to check any junk e-mail  or spam folders that may have captured the e-mail.)

1. To begin the activation process, go to the Online Backup activation Web site.
2. Enter your Support Plan Order number or Full Service Plan Order Number and the 5-digit zip code associated with your Intuit account, and then click Continue.

Note: If you don't have your order number available, you can obtain it using the Order Status Web site.

3. Fill out all required fields, and then click Continue.
4. The resulting page will display your QuickBooks Online Backup Account ID and a link to download the Online backup application.
