| Detailed Instructions |
Reinstall QuickBooks Online Backup to get the latest version:
- Open a web browser and enter www.quickbooks.com/support/onlinebackup
- Click the Login button in the center of the window
- Enter your Account ID and password, and then click the Reinstall button
- Follow the onscreen prompts to reinstall.
If the error Error: LA 4169 occurs during the installation process, follow the steps below:
- Click Cancel to abort the installation.
- Uninstall the existing version of Online Backup:
- Click the Microsoft® Windows®Start button and select Settings > Control Panel.
- Double-click Add or Remove Programs
- Scroll down the list of programs to find Online Backup.
- Click Change/Remove
- If no option to uninstall is available:
- Press the Ctrl + Alt + Del keys, and then click the Task Manager button. . The Task Manager opens.
- Click the Processes tab
- Scroll to to find the Onlinebackup.exe process. . Click to select it, and then click the End Process button.
- Click OK.
