Online Banking not showing transactions when matching to existing QuickBooks transactions

Issue 1:
After downloading online banking transactions they are showing up as Unmatched even though the transactions exist in the check register.
Issue 2:
After downloading online banking transactions and clicking on "More Matching Options" the "Unmatched transactions in QuickBooks" window does not populate the windows with transactions from QuickBooks.
How to fix it

Solution 1:  Verify that the bank account has the lightning bolt beside it.

  1. Click on the List menu.
  2. Select Chart of Accounts. 
    • Note:  If the lightning bolt is not beside the bank account try to enable online banking for the account.

Solution 2:  Look for other accounts setup for online banking.

  1. Click on the List menu.
  2. Select Chart of Accounts.
  3. At the bottom of the Chart of Accounts place a checkmark beside the Include Inactive option.
  4. If there is another bank account setup for Online Banking to the same Financial Institution then disable it.
  5. Setup the active bank account for Online Banking.
    • Download the online banking transactions.
