When printing checks or mailing labels, you may see the following message:

Driver Lacks Full Font Support
Important!
The printer driver you are using does not support a full range of fonts for this printout.

QuickBooks uses custom page sizes to print checks and mailing labels. Printers using continuous paper usually don't support these custom page sizes. Instead, they require QuickBooks to send the text from your checks and labels directly to the printer. This limits the printed form to only those fonts that are built into the printer.

How to fix it

QuickBooks is working as designed.

  • Click the OK button in this message and the job will print with the printer's default font.
  • If you want to change the font, refer to your printer manual or contact the printer manufacturer for assistance.
